Formatting Suggestions

A suggested subject line: Rating, Title (Part Number)/(total Number of Parts)
           Examples:
                         PG, Highlander is Cool, 1/4
                         R, Duncan Kills Ten Bad Immies, 1/10
                         Adult, Highlander Gets Laid, 1/1
                         Slash, Methos Lived in Rome, 1/3

Line Length

Line length in posts to ATHC should be kept to 72 characters or less. Believe it or not, there are still people using e-mail programs such as Pine that do not wrap the lines of incoming messages to the viewscreen.  Please be kind, and have your e-mail program wrap lines at 72, or if you are using pine, hit return once you get near 72 characters.

If you use Netscape you can set the wrap length of your lines by going to 
Edit -> Preferences -> Mail & Newsgroups -> Messages
The side window has a line that allows you to set the line length of outgoing messages. "Wrap outgoing, plain text messages at __ characters."  This reinforces the need to send plain text messages.  

To make sure your Netscape browser is set to send messages in plain text go to
Edit -> Preferences -> Mail & Newsgroups -> Formatting
In the side window choose "Use the plain text editor to compose messages".
